A fantastic place run by caring and qualified members. This is our second daughter to attend here and I am extremely comfortable sending her here. She is always looking forward to going in there, full of excitement. It is a brilliant place, all the teachers are thought of fondly by my older girl. You can’t go wrong sending your children to such a loving and caring environment. Lovely playschool, filled with fun, love and laughter, highly recommend.

My two boys love going to Acorn to Oak, one started in the wobblers room and one started in the baby room. Being a typical mother I was more anxious than the kids about the transition from one room to the next but I can honestly say it ran so smoothly and one of the minders/teachers move with them to the room so they will always have a familiar face.
Some evenings I go to collect the boys and they don’t want to come home. All the people working there know their names and are so friendly towards them.
The variety of activities and interactive play that the boys do is great and really helps them with their creativity and development.
Even in this current restrictions Acorn to Oak have embraced technology and have not forgotten about the children at home by organising Zoom dates with the kids, storytelling etc which is great.
The Teachkloud app system being used provides great reassurance and information to parents. Acorn to Oak upload pictures of the kids on a regular basis and a description of what they are doing.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Acorn to Oak to anybody as the service that they provide is top class.
I’m a working mum of 3 and my oldest started in Acorn to Oak over 8 years ago. Since then my other two children have joined. All of them absolutely loves it here – they have been so well cared for in the baby room and from an early age they are nurtured and supported along their journey. Daily reports are available so that you know how their day was and food is homecooked and fresh. At every stage, playtime indoors and outside is a priority and kids do so much wonderful arts and crafts. Learning is encouraged each day from saying please and thank you, to putting on your coat, to writing skills and playing together. All of the teachers have been so kind to me and my kids and we feel lucky to have this service available to us. I just asked my husband what would he say about the creche and he said “couldn’t live without it” – sums it up! Thank you Acorn to Oak
We have used this creche for the past 12 yrs. I have nothing but praise and admiration for the staff who have cared, loved and nurtured our 4 children from baby room to Montessori. They learned basic life skills and manners, respect for people. Highly recommend this creche for your children.

Acorn to Oak was our home from home. The staff are amazing, friendly and more importantly like family. Our two kids were enrolled in Acorn to Oak for 4 years and hand on heart, if we were off a day the kids would cry to go up. Very fond memories from our time here. We have two boys who attend the Acorn to Oak facility. They are greeted each morning with friendly smiles from the staff. We communicate with the staff through an app which is super handy and efficient. It’s great to see the wide range of activities my boys get up to on a daily basis. When my pre-schooler first began it took a while to transition him from leaving his home comforts to this brand new social environment. I have to say the staff went over and beyond for him and the patience and support they showed was exceptional. Fast-forward to date and my pre-schooler no longer wants to be collected, He raves about the food served which is varied and balanced. Overall I would highly recommend this homely and caring childcare facility to any parent.

We cannot recommend Acorn to Oak Creche highly enough!
The staff are welcoming, considerate, helpful, and excellent at caring for our two little girls. We have always had smiles and excitement at drops off and the occasional episode of not wanting to come home when collected-which for me is a reassuring indicator they are happy spending their day there and get lots of attention. I have always found it difficult going back to work after maternity leave and worried about the transition for the girls. The staff at Acorn to Oak are so supportive and understanding of this and make the settling in period for both Baby and Mum as easy and effortless as possible. Both of our girls adapted so well when they started and instantly felt at home and comfortable with the girls and their environment. The rooms are clean, bright, and stimulating but still have a cosy feel.
Not only are the staff at Acorn to Oak clearly passionate about the care of the girls they are also very professional. They create the time to discuss your child’s needs with you- their daily routines, any matters that may arise during the day, etc, and do so in a discrete and personal way.
We have seen amazing progress in our toddlers’ speech and play- its apparent that they engage in lots of nursery rhymes, singing, storey times and have a great structure to the day for the children. Our other little lady has been spoilt with baby massage and a variety of sensory play.
The app is a fantastic addition, where you can see how your little ones’ day is progressing and receive little snapshots of the activities and how much fun they are getting up to. Getting updates like that is great for brightening up your day.
It goes without saying we would be lost without Yvonne and the team at Acorn to Oak. Hayley, Magda, Lisa and Danielle are like a second family to the girls and we are so grateful to them for everything they do and the warmth and affectionate they show our two little ladies.
